Hybrid Support System

    There have been a lot of great ideas for support systems, whether they be simply an IRC channel or forum, or a bug tracking system like launchpad (or one of the other thousands out there). They all have their own pros and cons, and often times I've seen problems bounce back and forth between them because while each solution works, they aren't always what you want at that time, but they may be 10 minutes later for the same issue. So, after some idea bouncing today, I came up with an idea, a hybrid support system.

Ubuntu 8.10 Released: Are You Seeding?

Ubuntu 8.10, the Intrepid Ibex is finally released, do you have your .torrent? By the way, next time Ubuntu release team, why not seed the ISO's using Jigdo? Then I could update my RC image with about 60MB of updates and seed without having to redownload everything!

    Recently I've become nostalgic for a old classic Mac OS shooter, Marathon. Then someone in an IRC room I frequent pointed out a little gem called AlephOne, an open source clone/fork of the original Marathon engine, 100% compatible with marathon data files.
